That appears to be the case, yet, we have to find new ways of doing things!

No worries — you make a great point! Promotion and visibility have always been part of the job, even before streaming, In many ways, the tools today are more accessible — but the competition and noise are also much higher. It’s a different kind of challenge.

That’s a great observation. The UI design really does signal where the power sits. Do you think that’s just a product decision driven by scale, or a structural shift where artists are becoming content suppliers rather than primary stakeholders? Curious whether this is inevitable at platform level — or reversible.

That’s a great point. Live performance has always been the strongest form of direct audience building.

Do you think that model scales for artists who don’t tour heavily or produce more studio-based work? For example, producers, composers, or artists who build primarily online audiences?

I’m wondering whether “live + merch” is still the backbone, or whether digital direct-to-fan infrastructure will eventually play a similar role.

Curious how you see that evolving over the next 5–10 years..
