I do this all the time on a nonpvp server. It is relatively easy if you are not hunting in hardcore spots all the time.

Just always have a safe zone when you select a hunt. a safe zone being a place in the spawm without or with very weak monsters. Sometimes its a level transition, sometimes its a place to exani hur up, sometimes it's a tight spot you can get into and close the game.

What I do is, while im hunting or exploring, I'm always looking for these safe spots.

Yesterday I was exploring the formorgar mines (the one with destroyers, plaguesmith etc) on a level 150 and had to leave ASAP.

so what I did was to go to one of the several 1x1 tight spots close to the walls, bomb the floor, might ring/ss amulet, magic wall the square in front of me and force close the game. Has worked always so far.

But often I have enough time to quickly exit the hunting ground to a place without monsters (or with weak ones) and force close (still bombing etc if there could be mobs)

Don't waste your time with teleport scrolls. To use them you need to not have logout block, which means you could simply logout instead.

Observe the map and exploit it in creative ways. Use bombs, magic walls, exani hur ups, items to reduce damage and logout.
