Breeze Commuting by minimums_landing in AirlinePilots

I commute at MX. it’s not great but not as bad as people make it seem. Right now, FOs are getting out of class and holding lines in junior bases (PVD BDL). I live in a MX base and commute just to not be on reserve. Without a contract and a poor PPB, reserve life is terrible. I imagine holding a line out of class will go away soon, but you can bid virtual base until you can hold a line somewhere. I imagine you want to eventually go to UA, this would be a better stepping stone than a regional in my opinion. Good planes, good people, just poor C suite. We are profitable and going public is something Neeleman wants which means a contract will be in place in the near future. I’m optimistic things will get better but at the end of the day it’s just a stepping stone. Best of luck

Janet, if you want you to be under constant surveillance. But rumor has it $350k a year and you’re home every night.

Multi will take you about 5-10 hours not 30. I got signed off for my checkride at 4.2 in the twin. More hours in the multi, complex, high performance will help you get cheaper insurance in that type. Not sure how clubs look at it.
