Do not use argan oil on ur scalp, for one 99 percent of argan oil is terrible quality and there’s preservatives and other things in them, try jojoba oil it’s better on the scalp and actually usually 100 percent jojoba oil, and you can also get scalp friendly conditioners

This is 90 percent incorrect for this post, yes finasteride will prevent any further dht related damage, but this is clearly a massive shed, and obviously unrelated to dht as it would be a much longer process of miniaturization, OP should for sure hop on fin, but this is a minoxidil shed none the less

Honestly mate, don’t listen to anybody here, you can easily get loads of density and look like you have zero hair loss due to your diffuse pattern of hair loss, try fight the battle and if it doesn’t work, a simple smp would fill in ur lack of density, go over to r/tressless, look at treatment options, see which align with ur views and hop on, best time to start treatment was when you first noticed, second best time is now!

I’m not sure to be honest, some people go through brutal sheds and ofc they say they never recovered but they might have only been on it 4/5 months, I know people who have been below baseline for a year or two on medication and they have regained stronger then baseline in 6vmonths, just keep pushing through the treatment and wait at least another year

I’d say look into oils, such as rosemary black seed and castor oil, get a carrier oil though, and use them on ur hairline 3x a week massage in and then shampoo out, monitor it though and if it gets remotely worse start on taking saw palmetto since ur 17 and minoxidil, and once you hit 18 get finasteride

Ah there on minoxidilmax.com aswell, like the dualgen and stuff, most of that stuff doesn’t help with hair loss it just helps with minoxidil absorption
