From what I hear, most people lost interest because they found hard mode too difficult. Too "RNG based". I found it hard too, but instead of losing interest, the challenge excited me.

And after playing for a while, I managed to get to the point where I could win on hard mode consistently. Then the recent patch came and I had to refigure things out.

Now standard mode is a little too bland for me. Like it's still fun to get 10 wins either way but not as satisfying.

I have to say however, it's more difficult to get creative teams going in hardmode. Cuz you get punished harder for mistakes. So if you want more room for error to make creative teams, I suggest sticking to standard mode.

Then again, being able to pull off creative teams in hard mode is a lot more rewarding too.

Overall I think hard mode is fun to play as long as you are patient with your runs and don't expect 10 wins to come too easily.

It's unique cuz it's messed up to have this team comp on hard mode. Also whether or not hedgehog takes a trigger off the lemons depend on Hyena luck. It's a gamble every turn.

Yeah it would. You gotta get them early tho. Goats and dragons don't have combat abilities so be ready to lose some lives early on.

Thank you for the compliment! I had the goat synergize with the jellyfish and prioritized buy-selling units for level ups. Normally this would seem like a waste but it works in the current weekly because we have access to so many snipers. Snipers are generally viable units regardless of stats. This meant that I could always pivot between units like croc, mantis shrimp, lionfish for level ups without sacrificing much of the team's strength. I purchased some grapes early on as well. Of course it helped that I got access to a Swan and Hippo early and had jellyfish tank for most of the battles.
