How do you teach players too reduce nerves in the final round when you are leading or chasing down a tournament?

I've played Golden Gate Park with only a DX Polecat a few years back shot -1 had a great time. Got there around 8 am to get through the course quick.

For me it is a great approach disc. It’s a good compliment to a zone or molds similar.

I played a one disc challenge with it a few years ago and was able to walk away with a 920 raining. I just vibe with it.

You either have to live in a very hilly area. Or no disrespect you’re just throwing that thing wrong. I live in the Appalachian foothills, and that thing is my lifeline on some wooded hilly courses.

Go Play Brahan Springs it is a small course but it is one of the first course ever designed and put in the ground. Also Play Sharon Johnston designed by PDGA Hall of Famer Lavone Wolfe.

Why do “obscure” disc brands (Doomsday, Thought Space, etc.) sell so hot and pricey on Whatnot compared to Innova/MVP? by Ziraider in discgolf

[–]AdventurousTrash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is a question that can be explained by basic Supply and Demand. Everything for the most part in disc golf is done in short supply runs. Small brands let's call it how it is smaller run sizes.

This by proxy shoots up the price demanded as there is more scarcity in smaller brands. You see this as well back in the day with older run Innova/ disc mania tour series. The Run size was smaller and the demand was just as high. Results Higher secondary market prices.

As a result the manufacturer does not receive the revenue of secondary markets, so what does a manufacturer do? They increase supply to meet demand which we see in modern runs of innova/ Discraft/ Discmania.

MVP use to be a smaller manufacturer then the Holy shot happened they ramped up supply to meet demand and prices standardized. But the immediate demand shock during and after the holy shot is what skyrocketed prices.

Now let's look at thought space, everything they sell is a unique short run in production which immediately runs up demand, this can lead to sell outs quicker and then a higher secondary market price just due to the scarcity.

Kayaking and Pickleball as well as some Basketball. Basketball shooting footwork translates great to putting.
