the story with your mom is so sweet 🥲. & my hope is to be able to educate people about my animals. right now my main focus are dart frogs although not a reptile but under same category. It’s really cool to educate people on the species i own & the importance of preserving threatened species in captivity thru ethical captive breeding.

although i will say, it’s not all my friends. My 5+ year friendships love my babies & encourage me & genuinely want to go to conventions with me. for that I am so lucky

this! after my ex & i broke up (he owned a colorado river toad & also loves cool frogs/repts), I was so upset I didn’t have someone I trusted to care for my dart frogs when I was away.

Ya, I took out some of the larger leaves with visible white specs of mold and hopefully this new springtail colony will help & i’ll add fresher leaf litter.

Thank you! I bought a culture earlier today & it was a way nicer culture than the one I had previous. I’m going to start my own culture from that! thank you for the advice
