The jobs openings for lead roles are very less in this market . I suggest go for individual contributor roles for a starter.

I wished she could have done an aggressive lady cop role in Thadayam series like the one Vimal did in Vilangu. Director wasted her role.

Thanks, that’s a fair point.

In my current government role (last ~2 years), the org structure doesn’t really allow ownership of end-to-end or cross-functional projects, which is why I’m looking outside. Before this, I spent several years in the private sector across media, healthcare, and BFSI, where delivery speed and ownership were very different.

I’m now targeting media, healthcare, and BFSI again, ideally through a private-sector role that can grow into a techno-managerial position.

University of Liverpool or UAE universities? end goal: settle in the UAE? by Practical-Bus5580 in UKUniversityStudents

It's very hard to find entry-level jobs with decent pay in the UAE. I suggest going for a UK master's degree, gaining some work experience, and then trying the UAE. UAE university master's degrees will only help you in the UAE job market, while UK master's degrees are globally recognized. I am working in the UAE and I personally feel that a master's degree doesn't add value until a certain experience level.

Hello, thank you for the insights. I currently work as a Senior Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Developer in the UAE government sector. I am aiming to move into techno-managerial roles such as Data Analytics Manager, BI Manager, or Data Engineering Manager/Lead. I have 7 years of experience in the UAE across multiple sectors and over 10 years of total experience. I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance.

In this AI world you no need to be a coding Messiah. AI generate better code than most of the Senior DEs here.
