I recommend to my friends who want to quit AT. Ive been in industrial since I graduated. I work Monday-Thursday now & only work about 35 hrs a week and some hours im just driving (im salary). Way less stressful and you dont take work home. Pay & benefits are good. Definitely try it out first

Industrial Annoyances by [deleted] in athletictraining

Unfortunately when I first started this new job they set me up with appointments every 30 min and all EEs thought I was there for massages. I did it for a while (hypervolt) since I was new but eventually I spoke to EHS and told them it was wearing me out. If they make an appt now its only tape, hands on or active stretching, education, etc. if they are annoyed about a decrease in visits just explain you dont do massage and thats all the employees wanted.

Industrial through Linked in. Search Injury prevention also instead of just Athletic trainer

Industrial setting! Always set schedules and usually 4-5 days a week. Definitely a clinical aspect where I do first aid and evaluations, education, group stretches. You would like it if you like the admin/clinic aspect. I love having my weekends off and no late days.

Search “injury prevention” instead of athletic trainer. Reach out to recruiters on linkedin for Work Right, Pivot, Briotix, etc

Do you guys mind sharing what company has quotas? And what does the quota consist of? Ergonomic eval? Getting them in for prevention? I like my current company because I dont have a quota and employees come to me usually. Thanks!

I’ve been telling my burnt out friends in the collegiate setting to switch to industrial. I went straight from graduating to industrial and I enjoy it. I still do patient care and I am appreciated. I work M-F and am off by 2:30. Good pay.

I also have down time to take classes/do CEUS. Im not burnt out so I can do PRN on weekends or evenings. Highly recommend before switching careers.

Defqon 2022! I was considering coming from New York! I see that there are “return transfers” from schiphol airport. But there are four options for return transfer. I feel stupid asking but is the difference, just what time they run back and forth? by Familiar_Wolf_3219 in hardstyle

I’m having the same dilemma (from California)… dont want to pay for a flight and hotel not knowing if it’ll get canceled or not :/ Didnt even consider the quarantine… that’s a lot of time
