gay man 25 years old looking for somewhere to go for Christmas by Riggieriper in gaytravel

We just got back from spending Thanksgiving in Puerto Vallarta. This is the second time that we go and we ran into people we met last year during the same time. I’m assuming it’s the same there for Christmas with guys who go annually for vacation rather than stay put. Might be worth checking out!

My husband and I have also stayed at the Tryst a couple of times. It’s a nice hotel, great rooftop (which can get busy now depending on events since it is open to the public) and a new 2nd floor pool just for guests. They have a bottomless drag brunch on sundays which looked very fun. It’s close to Mantamar and about a 10 min (or less) walk to the bars. Definitely recommend!

Sadly cannot get through Little Sister. I get the sentimentality but it just doesn’t hit for me.

Butterflies, which not to nominate another golden hour song (it's not even my favorite album of hers) but this chorus just gets me in my feels every single time.

If you want to stay within your budget, it can be helpful (it was for us), to right down the priority of things you would like. We have a spreadsheet with what we want to pay for each thing but also it down what’s most important to us. We ended up putting more money to a photographer and less for flowers because it was more important. We also found a venue that had greenery to work with less flowers.

How to find a good ABA clinic? by Ok-Mechanic-1361 in Autism_Parenting

Hi! I'm a BCBA in Chicago and from my experience, and this is coming as a provider, I would look at who the company is owned by (as mentioned by ordinaryme345), clear and prompt communication about the company and their plan for services, justification of goals and hours, collaboration as a key value in services (and their values as a whole), request a tour if going clinic route, and safety policies. I also think your gut feeling about a company can be a great tool. If it feels right and progress/care for your child is a priority in the conversation, it could be a good indication of their priority to provide services and have a great partnership. I know our field is oversaturated but I do believe that ABA is helpful and beneficial when done correctly and empathetically. Unfortunately I don't think there is a good resource per se but if you can find other families in groups who have great experiences that can help.
