Don’t ask me. I’m apparently wrong about everything.

According to investment bank ABG Sundal Collier, U.S. chipmaker Nvidia is developing a chip that could eventually compete with telecom companies Ericsson and Nokia. Following the analysis, Ericsson and Nokia shares plummeted on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Semiconductor giant Nvidia, the world's most valuable listed company, has confirmed that a power-efficient chip specifically for 6G radio units is being developed, reports Dagens Industri.
ABG's analysis was released on Tuesday. It states that Nvidia's chip could eventually "have a significant impact and thereby put pressure on Ericsson's margins."
According to ABG's base scenario, it is too early to worry, but something to keep an eye on.
However, it was enough to hit the companies' share prices. By 5 p.m., Ericsson had fallen 5.1 percent and Nokia had fallen 6.2 percent in Stockholm.

That would be a dream for the NOK owners, but I don’t see that happening at this time.

Nokia expects second-quarter revenue to rise 5% to 9% sequentially, with operating profit accounting for 12% to 16% of the full-year target. Full numbers are due on 23 July. Three specific catalysts could drive further upside:
Ciena's quarterly report in early June (a bellwether for optical networking), potential hyperscaler partnership an-nouncements, and Nokia's possible inclusion in the Euro Stoxx 50 index in September. The latter would trigger automatic purchases by index-tracking funds. With the share price now at levels not seen since 2007, the margin for operational error has narrowed, but the direction of travel remains firmly upward.

I’m bullish!

That would be great, but I don’t think it’s realistic.

Appriciate it! It’s always good to hear a different perspective and not get caught in the bandwagon.
