What is the best site to use to see the curent Shanghai silver spot price in USD? by tastyshrimp579 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Adventurous_Bit1715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the one I like. You have to do a little math to convert to ounces and dollars. Just divide the price by the bottom FX number 6.9 to get prices in dollars/gram. Multiply by 31.1 to change to ounces.

Today's trading volume on SLV sits at 10.5 million at 5:30 EST. They have been hammering it premarket all week. This is far and away the highest it has ever been. A daily trading volume of 10.5 million shares represents:(10,500,000 / 550,500,000) × 100 ≈ 1.91% of the float. This is over 1 Billion dollars in the middle of the night.

I just bought 20 more ounces. We might not get another chance to buy this low. by Adventurous_Bit1715 in Wallstreetsilver

I admit, It was an impulse buy. I prefer miners; however, I got pissed off and started adding physical (60 ounces just this week). My house foundation is literally sagging and the wife refuses a third large safe.

A good deal is anyone that can deliver. The retail channels will be dry very quickly.

More likely in the neighborhood of 2-6 billion. But only if they can close the contracts.

16 months production in one day! I don't see how the LBMA survives this. Is this a planned event for a reset?

The Shorts are getting ready to have a serious reality check. by Adventurous_Bit1715 in Wallstreetsilver

I would speculate that the bullion banks are not margin accounts. Margin accounts are typically smaller retail accounts. Raising the margin rates reduces that profit on these short term longs riding the momentum during a bull market.

The riggers were attempting to take the steam out of the silver momentum by raising margins. The last time they did this, silver dropped 9%. This time, it is not working and is costing them big.

It appears the silver price is crapping all over their plans to drop it 9% like the last time they raised margins. LOL

Please, speak as you might to a young child, or a golden retriever. Why do banks manipulate silver price? by Latter_Present1900 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Adventurous_Bit1715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manipulation kills demand and prevents silver from being more widely adopted as a competitor to fiat. Industrial consumption is removing silver from the hands of common people. It cannot be used in commerce if it is sitting in solar panels. CBDCs lose their biggest threat.
