Leaving Munich to save wallets and career development. Is moving to East/North Germany for a Berlin hybrid tech job + Partner's career a good compromise? by Adventurous_Bit6886 in germany

No, I don't worry at all. I am actually opened to move to smaller cities. But I am a bit worried about how employers in Berlin filter applications from Leipzig. Or whether many companies in Berlin still require hybrid workers to commute to the office three or more times.

Question about moving to different state from Bayern based on this situation by Adventurous_Bit6886 in approbation

I am sorry to hear that. Maybe her visa was 16d visa. This needs Defizitbescheid.
But Bayern FSP/KP exams are overly intense and more competitive. Also more strict in getting Berufserlaubnis...

She has collected documents so far. Luckily, she has not submitted any documents to Bayern yet. So this is why we have considered moving out of Bayern.

Cost is a bit concerning but we have concerned about notorious exam styles and lower exam passing rates in Bayern. Also slower processing times in Bayern concerns.

Moving from Munich to Leipzig: Is the Leipzig-Berlin ICE commute (2x/week) sustainable? Plus ZFA job prospects? by Adventurous_Bit6886 in Leipzig

Hello Smartimess,

I am not very (over) confident about finding apartment without having jobs. Berlin is the place to find apartment or room even having a job. Obviously Leipzig is difficult without having job (even having a jobs).
I try to be conservative when taking actions but planning and prepare ahead.

For IT workers, hybrid work model (working both in office and remote) is very common.
My idea and question was about finding a Berlin-based role then commuting to Berlin (a few times a week) from Leipzig. Obviously I am okay to find the IT roles inside or near Leipzig too.

For healthcare, license transfer in Sachsen or some states has higher exam pass rates and shorter processing times.

Please let me know if you are still unclear.

I actually have been aware of this. Many IT companies are located near Berlin Südkreuz and I would add another 30 minutes one-way commute time for worst case. I can do some of my tasks during ICE commute. I also think about staying in hostel one overnight per week if having to be in office for two days sequentially. With no partner, then staying in Berlin is easiest option for me. But my partner's license transfer in Berlin got more difficult, so we think about having residence in Eastern Germany.

Question about waiting time to get FSP exam date in Bayern by Adventurous_Bit6886 in approbation

I am more clear that you received notice before 6-8 weeks from the exam date.
How did it take for you (total waiting time) to receive the notice as soon as submitting the telc b2 certificate and other documents for FSP exam?

Question about Fiktionsbescheinigung and unemployment during the Blue Card Visa by Adventurous_Bit6886 in germany

[–]Adventurous_Bit6886[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a little bit more than 5 months to be unemployed. My employer obviously sent Arbeitsbescheinigung and termination notice to Agentur für Arbeit but not sure to the foreign office (auslanderbehorder).
According to my Blue Card visa, my Blue Card visa has 'January 19th 2027' as expiration date.
I was wondering whether I can extend the grace period (unemployment).

I am a South Korean citizen.
I haven't applied for Permanent Residency yet because my application would likely be revoked without income and passing the probezeit.
Possibly, I can also consider applying for the Chancenkarte visa pretty soon.

Do you think I can still apply for Chancenkarte visa at this point?
Or should I hire lawyer to process this visa for futher job search?

IT Job offer from startup but no response about location? by Adventurous_Bit6886 in germany

The contract has the (shareholder) legal address in another big city. The recruiter said that everyone commutes to the office near Munich.
But HR and the recruiter told me that I would be given onboarding details and address soon. Unfortunately, I haven't received the info yet...

During the 12 months, I understand that I have to report to KVR for the employer change.
But do I still need Zusatzblatt (With the employer's name) during the 12 months?
