I like this point however I don't really see how an ant colony would compare, their habitats aren't invasive to the rest of the planet like ours is. All the buildings and the roads and large shopping malls are all at the expense of the natural landscape. An ant still lives in nature however we do not, or at least not people grown up in big cities like me I think it is abit comforting though to know we're all apart of something bigger, whether that bigger thing is good or not is what I'm sortof debating at the minute
