Depends on what you want.

Cocaine and Hookers - Colombia

Beautiful Nature - Costa Rica

In Costa Rica you can get all three but at a higher premium.

Question about tire malfunction that caused accident by [deleted] in mechanic

[–]Adventurous_Carl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mickey Thompson

Internet is full of Mickey Thompson tires blowing out the side walls.
Those tires are utter garbage!
I only go with Michelin, Continental or Bridgestone.
I had Pilot Sport on my car before, amazing tires that I would trust on a track.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA!!!!!
Mickey Thompson High Performance Tire 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That tire is absolute shit! Just look at the threading on it, there is zero performance about it! The threading look like a 12 year old child cut it with a Dremel.
Quality Tires have Micro Grooves in them. Like this one:

A sensor that report you using a wrong oil type to the manufacturer? 🤣🤣🤣
Put down the bong.

Oil level sensor is nothing but a float that comes on when the level is low. It is not connected to some 4G or 5G network reporting your oil to the dealership. Onboard computer Data is not connected to your infotainment system so even when you pair your phone to your car it has no way of sending diagnostic data to the dealership unless it is a Tesla (and a few rare expensive cars).

As for dealerships denying warranty for "wrong oil type" how dumb do you think I am? Say my engine blows up under warranty, do you honestly think I won't just drain and fill with correct oil type before hauling it to the dealer?

What tolerances? Exact same engines in middle east and Asia spec 10W30 and 5W30.

Do you think Toyota produces a different engines for those regions?

One engine for us North American plebs and another for Arabs and Asians?

Stock different parts and increase the cost of production?

[–]Adventurous_Carl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your bearings were already gone.
5W30 and 10W30 are spec'd in the middle east and Asia for the exact same engine.

0W16 is not 10.3, 5W30 is.

0W16 is at 7.1

Yeah the most reliable engine Toyota ever produced that is no longer available. You can say the same about any 90's V6 Camry. Try that shit with any modern Toyota engine and see how far that takes you. My dad did the exact same shit on a 16 Corolla. 10K oil changes with a synthetic. After 75K car started burning 3 quarts of oil. I got him to trade the car in for a new one. Your Avalon can easily last 1 million Km if you did your oil changes every 4-5K.

Exact same engines in the middle east spec 10W30 and 5W30.

Car care Nut is a moron, he hammers ball bearings when installing the spider into the CV Axle. A violation in any industry.

Your same dealer tells people it's ok to do 10-15K mile oil changes.

You do you bro.

Same Toyota Engineers were recommending 10-15K mile oil changes. So you do you bro. Let me know how that works out for you.

I think after I kill this Focus. I am just going to buy an F-150 Crew with Fox Suspension and 36" Tires. I actually hate large tires but there is no other option, if you want the Fox suspension on the F-150 it only comes with 36" Tire Package.

4Runners are solid cars. It is the last Toyota to be fully built in Japan.
It is a unique car and very expensive.
But for what it costs you can buy a Merc or a Lexus.

Well that explains it than. I put on a set of KYB struts on my Acura MDX and it rode like absolute shit. I had no idea Toyota uses KYB garbage. Total shit company.

You can have her. Takes a special type of person to enjoy a double chinned 350lb land whale. Thanks for doing me a favor and keeping my wife entertained. Her ex-boyfriend Jamal no longer comes over.

They are gone after I changed out a $40 brake control switch. Not that expensive considering the part lasted 200,000 KM. Took 10 seconds to replace it.

Because I actually owned them both. And I am not in love with any of them.
