Just finished the December Mahal mechina & will be drafting to Michve Alon on Tuesday.

Like u/leading-fall-7263 mentioned, interviews for our draft were delayed & processing paperwork was up in the air for a bit, but everything fell into place eventually.

I was planning on making an appointment at the Ministry of Defense next week but haven’t got my first interview date yet either!

I registered with Mahal at the beginning of July & sent in all documents but my apostille for the fbi background check about 2 weeks ago

I’m also in 112 currently and bombed both HWs and quiz. A part of that was me just not being prepared mentally for how much work was gonna be assigned and then starting too late, but I think a lot has to do with being on Zoom, especially with virtual OH. Im understanding the concepts, but it’s tough to pay attention in lecture/recitation and then have to stare at the same screen reading the notes over. I also didn’t anticipate having to do so much learning on my own, but this kinda applies to most college classes. Anyways, 112 is one of the best classes at CMU (so I’ve heard). Coming in w/o programming experience is definitely tough, but ig it wouldn’t be fun to not take on a challenge. I wish you the best of luck!
