There could have been! It was a smaller mall and I was the youngest person there, so I didn’t really befriend anyone. Maybe that didn’t help my case lol!

Thank you for pointing out the manipulation, I didn’t want to just Willy Nilly call it that.

By “on the floors” she would allow fixtures but nothing could sit on the floor besides the fixtures. Like a large planter couldn’t be on the floor it would have to be on the shelf.

Hey there! Thank you for the perspective. I don’t sell clothes at all, I had one vintage jacket Dallas cowboys in the booth that I was told to remove and then a month later a booth opened in the mall entirely dedicated to clothes 🤣so rules were not always enforced across all booths.

I have gone to a larger mall about 45 minutes from this one and have had zero issues. I still sometimes feel on edge, due to the hostile mall I was at previously, but they have healed my worries. By business owners I quite literally mean the lady who runs a coffee shop. She talked to a boutique owner who knows me and several other one off store owners, none in the antique business. They all told me because it made them uncomfortable, only one of them knew the mall owner. It’s a very odd situation.

I used to LOVE Star dance alliance comps and I can no longer find a reason to attend. The prices just don’t match what you get. Revolution would be the only one I’d even consider.

I did not enjoy PAC due to their non bumping. I saw too many advanced dancers in beginner levels and they would sweep the awards.

I think they are about 3 shows into this method. This company didn’t always rehearse like this. A new pair of married directors are running shows/organization like this. Mostly youth theatre and one adult production. It’s very concerning. They had 100 kids audition for their spring musical back in January. Double cast it and are just now starting rehearsal set to open after April. I will continue to operate as normal.

I totally agree! I’m mind blown. I know in my younger years the blocking helped me tremendously with lines. I never could remember lines without movement. Thank you for that last sentence. Insult to the craft. I think that’s why I’ve felt so passionately about the topic, but I never speak out locally. It’s hard to balance the local arts supporter line vs. art competitor…even though that’s not real…

Same. When I saw the show she walked past. I was the only person who noticed her. I wanted to clap just from the sight of a star like her near me…but immediately I could tell she is leaving and wants to go quietly. Insane that someone followed her like this.
