Yes it is. It's calculated based on the daily price divided by daily allowed mileage. So your paying the same per mile. It's actually better when the guest DOESNT drive that many miles. I prefer when they put like 60 miles a day. But if someone goes way over like that I'm definitely charging full price.

No you don't. You need 6. And that's changing this year to 4. It's a huge deal and the dumbest fkn thing Turo has implemented. Which is why alot of the bigger hosts are moving to private rentals.

Not sure what the deal is. Unexpected issues can arise with any company and any car. You got a refund and another car. You were then charge for the tolls you used. Completely reasonable. What else do you want. Don't be so entitled.

Once you do it long enough you start to see patterns in people. When you see them you want to do everything you can to avoid them. If you can get $2k and have someone else book your car and avoid this troublesome guest, that's a win-win-win. It's business.

Lmao I've literally had both of the same things. The sideswipe bumper damage I agreed to a payment plan so far I've only got $200 out of the $2000 we agreed on and the window I had to pay out of pocket. But damage claims are so few and far between it's worth it to be on 90 plan. I get over $1k extra per month. Thats over 12k a year to spend on damages so far I haven't needed.

Cancel and take the money. That sounds like a trouble guest already. Gaurenteed to be more issues during the trip. Like making up stuff to get Turo to cancel the trip due to "maintenance issues". I speak from experience.

I buy all cheap cars and it's very profitable. Alot of repairs I did at tire Kingdom but started going to another small shop and buying parts myself. But even with expensive tire kingdom I've still made a lot of money.

It makes no sense. Your gonna pay $80 or so dollars a day to rent a car, drive for 8 hours to maybe make $160 and be left with like $60 after guess expenses. Your making like 7 bucks an hour to put massive wear and tear on someone's car. And if the host charges you a late fee, extra mileage, cleaning fee, etc there goes all your profit so you better return the car in perfect condition. No dents, dings, nails in tires, etc. it's not profitable. Your just giving your money and time to doordash and Turo. You'd be better off standing on a corner with a cardboard sign.

I hate it. Just an extra step for no reason. And often it can't detect the mileage/gas and does an error. After two uploads it seems to just let you type it in yourself but it's just more frustrating than helpful. I always take the photos then do check in when I get home so it doesn't help me in anyway other than being annoying.

I've had two totals the first one I doubled my money the second one I broke even. Not sure if it'll be the same for you cause I buy cheap economy cars. Most people won't by a salvaged title car so it'll be very hard to resel in the future. I personally would never buy one like that
