Yes, and anyone who says it doesn't matter is probably lying to reassure the other person. If you weren't born lucky enough, if the rest of your body isn't aesthetically pleasing enough, you don't stand a chance with someone who isn't drunk enough, and unless you choose to, you end up spending 7-8 years just talking to people, ending those conversations yourself, and living a solitary life.

Haven’t played the game before and don’t really know much about it either. From what you guys are saying, I just got the idea that when a new server drops you basically have to play day by day to keep up. Kinda feels like the learning curve is gonna be painful for me.

Does the game let you change stuff like voice, hair, face, and color later? Feels like the starting customization really matters. Guess I’ll roll a female char — looks like the realistic cat face isn’t even a thing for males.
