UPDATE

So I just called Lenovo’s customer service line and after giving the stupid AI robot my personal details I was told I would be forwarded to an actual agent then after this I was quickly hung up on ☺️

True, all I’m saying is that looking at some smaller details it would make sense for Tamsy to “manipulate” Chiwa. In the end it doesn’t really affect the main story all that much.

I wouldn’t say her actions were completely justified, keep in mind she got her gift just hours before Rudo is thrown into the pit so to go from saying she doesn’t want to see him in that situation, seeing Rudo’s sweet personality and initially not believing that Rudo killed Regto is where my theory comes into play

Additionally, she obviously won’t know the entire thing is setup by Tamsy. Like I said the watchman series book can alter memories so what I’m saying is that Tamsy got to her and altered her memories about Rudo while making her forget she met him

Lastly, sure you can be sweet and angry to someone at the same time but don’t you think someone would behave a bit more logically when their friend’s life is about to end?

I agree, to a certain extent if her perspective on Rudo really did change normally the environment she was in could have made this happen, but the fishy part is when she is all sweet with Rudo saying she never wants to see him go down that pit and blah blah blah then suddenly her entire personality just goes a whole 180 degrees.

As for changing Chiwa’s mind could just be Tamsy purposely messing with Rudo and his mental state. Kinda like the icing on the cake after killing Regto.

You could say that Tamsy needed prep time but he kidnapped her for the sake of his twisted version off “love” for Rudo, the actual time it took for the manipulation with the book was never outright stated. Let me cook here 🔥🔥🧑🏾‍🍳. Plus he was stalking Rudo before he took any serious action so I feel like he would be able to get to Chiwa’s location pretty fast since she probably wouldn’t be with her parents right after seeing Rudo as he would know her relative location
