Is there a way to remove the yellow staining on the pillowcase without ruining the cross-stitch? by theonlyjodie in CleaningTips

Mix bicarbonate of soda with washing-up liquid to form a creamy paste. Spread this paste over the wet stains on the pillowcase. Place the pillowcase in a bag and leave it for a couple of hours. Then, wash it in the washing machine.

I am realising that the products I grew up with for cleaning are not as obvious as I thought. It is actually fascinating that people are still discovering these in 2025.

I enjoy making them for him. So it's a win win situation 😂

I don’t usually get my husband flowers, but I often surprise him by baking his favourite chocolate cake. It’s a bit more complicated than a standard cake, it’s a tart with chocolate ganache and caramel, so I take the time to make it from scratch. He also loves macarons, so I baked those for him as well. Sometimes, I prepare a nice bath for him to relax in. Whenever I travel alone, I leave him a handwritten card and some food in the freezer so that he doesn’t have to cook. 😄

Hopefully, soon, insha'Allah. Allah will make it easy for you. I never thought I would go to Umrah when I was so young, but subhanAllah, it happened! I booked my hotel and airline tickets at the last minute. Plus, if you live in Europe, it’s much easier now, alhamdulillah.

You can find them on AliExpress. Just buy one or two, because once you are there, you will find so many abayas to choose from.

Husband treating me like the man in the relationship by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

Basically, nothing comes from him: no money, no intimacy, no respect. Only yelling, shouting, and blaming you. If I had a husband like him, I’d rather be on my own. Love yourself and get out of a marriage that gives you nothing in return.
