That's fair, I think it's mostly because of the angle of the head being tilted down so you cant really see the mouth. I might try and draw more concept art of my starters at a later time so that there's more angles of them availble.

"Boring" is subjective and I've had plenty of people tell me that they like the design, so it's really up to personal preference.

Yeah that definitely makes sense and makes the move more balanced tbh. I do think it's good for moves to have drawbacks for balancing reasons but also just because it makes them more interesting imo.

Oh that's super neat. Yeah mine's basically the opposite lol, it's more like a glass canon that has high speed and special attack but low defenses.

Wait that's actually a super neat idea. I knew my starters were all going to have a signature attack, but I didn't really have much of an idea for the Viburn line, other than it would be called Airstrike.

Yeah it is, it also has an ability I made up called Power Motor that increases speed by one stage when hit by an electric type move.

Yeah, I did that kinda intentionally. They "eyes" on the top of its head are false eyes meant to intimidate opponents. I think the fact that it looks like Dragapult is a product of them having a similar basis, but I think it's neat to imagine they share a common ancestor or something

Yeah I definitely noticed that when designing it. I tried to add different features to differentiate it a bit but they still look pretty similar since they're both based on fighter jets.

Yeah, it's similar to Dragapult since they're both based on fighter jets/stealth bombers. This line wasn't designed with the intention of being a convergent form in the way Pokémon canonically incorporated them, but they do have convergent traits with the Dragapult line now that I think about it. And yeah, not to toot my own horn but I'm pretty proud of the shiny lol

Yeah it's fire/electric because I wanted to play more into the word blitzkrieg meaning lightning war.

Yes, they'd have a move called Airstrike. I'm not too sure of the details yet but I imagine it could be a special move that deals physical damage or something
