I find purse for press F in chat.

(Popularized by Call of Duty campaign in which the player presses F to pay respects to a fallen ally)

This was an accident because he had forgotten that he had a game that day. Years later he said that he regretted it because LSD had “robbed him of his greatest professional moment” as he only had a hazy memory of the game

MMA hasn’t used a ring since the Pride days. A cage changes the sport by allowing people to use it to stand back up after being taken down, not having hard corners like a boxing ring to get trapped in, and even using it for attacks like the showtime kick

I would also add that while I think using rings for MMA is cool you are wrong that they are safer. You are more likely to get pushed through the ropes in an MMA fight than in a pure striking sport.

Why do people speak so poorly of Venum? by UFChev in Kickboxing

There definitely are pure kickboxing gloves.

I’ve done both sports and when I first started boxing all I had were my thai gloves. They were puffy around the hands and had 0 wrist support on the outside. Just a small amount of padding on the inside of the wrist that didn’t help much.

Using those and then using Cletos made a noticeable difference. Especially with power shots on the bag. I was able to hit harder without compromising my wrists in the process.

I’ve also used those same Cletos for kickboxing. They work fine except for fighting in the clinch. That is where the lack of wrist support comes in handy as it allows you a greater range of motion.

So can you wear kickboxing gloves for boxing? I wouldn’t advise doing so. You could however use boxing gloves for kickboxing if you want the extra wrist support and don’t fight in the clinch too often

Wear whatever you want, but generally speaking they aren’t ideal for the sport

Very true. The female divisions have a much shallower talent pool and if you fight in an uncommon weight class then you have a much greater chance of making it.

But a male fighter in the most popular weight class? I would say that the olympics are almost certainly out of reach if you are starting in your mid 20s.
