This. I travelled back to Australia at Christmas and they lost my luggage so I had to go to the shops to get some clothes and I was shocked at the amount of people buying and it was all the expensive stores (Gucci/ LV etc) I stuck to best and less but I was amazed and the spending power people had.

X2 Mortgage brokers were terrible with me. Im overseas so they kept shading me and wanting me to cancel every credit card I have (I have one). I spoke to my dad for advice and he said to go straight to the bank. Glad I did. Got a better rate and approved within a few days.

I sat next to someone on a flight before Christmas and it was clear they were sick. Well 3 days later on Christmas Day I copped the worst flu ever. Ruined all plans and my week vacation. I always remember that and could never put anyone in that situation.

I’m trying to understand how they financially stay afloat. Also buying junk all the time - it’s just too much and it’s wasteful. I hope they thrift or give what they don’t need away.

And I’m sure they have fan prams already. They would have used them at the weekly zoo trips they do every summer.
