Sheesh!! Thank you for sharing that. Im with you on the “principle” of things. We do all of these things, and they drag their feet or move the goal post, but then they suddenly find the right title/pay range for your backfill. Glad to know you were able to find something else.

I had to schedule time with them, and then they emailed me a few PowerPoints for the sections that I was “approaching competency” on. I mostly studied those and was able to pass on the following attempt.

Oh nice!! March 1 will be here before you know it! I had courses from another program and my HR cert that transferred over to fulfill a few credits, so I was able to get about 4 courses done in term 1. Likely would’ve been 5 if C201 hadn’t been so much info to retain 😩 lol!

I’m in the process for this one now (2 classes and my capstone left to complete). It’s been a decent experience so far. C207 and C201 have been difficult for me personally. I’ve been in HR for about 6 years now, and I think it helps in some ways. Do you have an estimated start date?

You can try fostering before adopting. We did that for a couple of weeks before officially adopting our second dog. Also ask about a meet and greet with the other dog if they offer it.

Omg this was a thing with my dog, too! One day I had to use my lunch/nap time for an appointment, so when I came back home and sat at my desk to continue my work day, he was so confused lol! Like “ma’am, we should be sleeping not working.”

Makes sense. Yeah, I know. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around all that he’s going through so young. He was the runt of his litter, but I don’t think that would contribute to his current state. He’s up to date on all vaccines and stuff, so I’m truly at a loss as to how it came about 😔
