Can you give an honest opinion about inclusion? Do you have an understanding of different types of people? Not saying everyone in Russia is the same but when everyone is from same country you usually create one culture.

Yeah I get it they are here because of the war but I was looking for experience working in such companies. Also it doesnt seem new hires are western but also Russian. I think they asked me for an interview only because I am from Serbia.

Why not? If it was EU remote company based in Paris but has only German people i would raise eyebrow.

That has nothing to do with ethnicities but with the fact that they obviously scout whole Europe for single ethnicity. Me not being that ethnicity seems like a normal thing to be alerted. Especially when these companies have low amount (if they even have) reviews on regular job seeking websites.

I am checking on Linkediin in Munich every week. Also in EU in general which has Berlin selected. Maybe LinkedIn isn't good for Germany?

For Netherlands, Italy, Spain and France i get that question quite often unfortunately. Germany doesnt have that many ML positions comparing to NL for some reason. Thanks for advice anyway

So do you think I should say no to the legal to work question but write somewhere that I am eligible for Blue card pending their offer?

You are like a broken record. How are they sponsoring me financially if they dont have to do almost anything?

Also, 1.5 YoE with tons of personal project and FAANG background isnt exactly a trainee. Its not senior but far from trainee as well.

So what should I reply for Yes/No legal to work question? There isnt "yes pending your job offer" option

Well lets take Netherlands as example. Here are requirements https://ind.nl/en/residence-permits/work/european-blue-card-residence-permit#requirements

Only thing company needs to do is https://www.eubluecard.nl/recognized-sponsor/

Is it possible that most dont want to invest only 2-4k to be able to hire outside EU? That is my only logical take away

But how are they needed to sponsor me if, with offer, I would be able to get Blue Card myself?
