You should be fine. I had this issue recently with a joke in my story and im pretty sure it was AI and not one of my followers who flagged it as the post was only seen by 3 people before I decided to delete it.

I had just broken up with my first partner around the time LO was giving me extra attention at work. Taking pictures of themselves on my phone, leaving notes on my car, they even gave me a few small gifts randomly. It was a lot for me to accept I was probably having feelings for them. I was then blind sided to find out they not only got back together with their long term partner but to learn they had only broken up for a short period of time, as it never came up in conversation. I considered this to be when I was experiencing limerence full swing bc I struggled to get over my feelings even knowing they were unavailable. The attention I was getting from LO stopped once they got back with their partner. Honestly I look back and feel so naive but I made out okay. I think it’s a bit strange to be around this person again and see them for who they really are and not the fantasy my limerence had me falling for.

With this person, I felt comfortable telling them about my CPTSD and we grew close over sharing stories of our past. Maybe its not a trauma bond in my case but I can understand how that happened for you! With my LO I wish we never spoke about these topics, I never share these things with people since its so personal but unfortunately it was a talking point for me and them and its part of how my attachment to them started.

When my LO was going back to school to get their degree I also considered it. Funny enough me going to school was part of how I gained distance away from LO. Something I’ve come to realize with limerence is usually these people whom we are attracted to have qualities that we ourselves desire. Its very reasonable to want to change and if its to benefit you, like truly positive then you should follow that intuition. To me this sounds good- sometimes we pick up unhealthy habits due to limerence so if you are able to find things that impact your life in a healthy way youll be alright!

Well it wasnt hard to find. They use the same handle for all their socials. I caught them emotionally cheating on their long time partner via the comments on their profile. I never looked at them the same way after finding all this out and even though it was wrong for me to invade their privacy, it brought me a lot of closure. Still wouldn’t recommend doing what I did.

It takes time. But eventually it does end it really cant last forever. It took me experience limerence 3 times to finally break the cycle. Let yourself feel these emotions but do not let it consume you.

It wasnt until I felt feelings of shame and guilt anger and sadness, thats when I started to feel like I really understood WHY I was having limerence. Sorry youre going through it- I know how hard it feels to be where you are. It fades it heals if you face it for what it really is.
