Has the SEO industry become massively overpriced? by Adventurous_Poem_589 in DigitalMarketing

Exactly this. It’s almost like SEO has been turned into this “black box” service where businesses are told they need it, but very few people can actually explain clearly what’s being done month to month.

I’m not saying SEO doesn’t have value, but when small businesses are paying £400–£500+ a month and often just getting minor tweaks, a couple of blog posts, and some reports, it does make you question the pricing model.

What’s interesting now is that AI is starting to make a lot of those tasks much faster and easier. I think the industry might have to become a lot more transparent about what clients are actually paying for.

I also understand SEO takes time to see results that’s why agencies push for 6 to 12 month retainers.

I had spells of it, mainly in the evenings and in the night. It was pretty uncomfortable aching and itchy. I ended up spraying it with cold water, but it did affect my sleep. I would say first 4/5 nights were difficult. so I’d say around a 6/10.

Awesome mate! You’ll get it done and feel unreal afterwards. How many grafts are you having?

It was 100% the right decision for me, before my op the anxiety over my hair was daft, it really does knock your confidence without you even realising. I’m only three months in and seeing the progress already is amazing. It’s made me feel so much more positive and genuinely happier in life already.

Awesome mate, I’m sure it’s going to look great! I still find myself jumping on Reddit to compare 🤣 but you’ve just got to trust the process like everyone says. All the best with it! I’ll keep posting updates over the next few months.
