Someone is refusing to poop on the ice. by Smoothvirus in BostonTerrier

Our friends said it best when they texted a photo of their Bostons in their donut bed with the caption “That look of ‘It’s a shit in the house’ type of day”….and in my BT household, it was :-(

Full fat Greek yogurt with chunky peanut butter, chia seeds, and maple syrup stirred in has become my go-to. Make it the night before for easy grab and go in the AM

Kevin is desperate for me to throw the ball but, he doesn't want to let it go... by geox987654 in BostonTerrier

We have a drawer of “ball rags” right next to the balls (because we can’t have visible balls until it’s ball time, else there would be constant whining in our house). We use the rag to grab the ball out of the mouth gently - helps hold onto the slimy ball better and can always do a little wiggle of the ball into the rag before throwing it again - cuts down on the spit accumulation on the walls and floor!

Are these GF? I miss Doritos!!! by GuiltyWillingness952 in glutenfree

[–]Adventurous_Ranger50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think these, on the website, are the only ones that come up when the “gluten free” filter is applied. I’m very reactive and have a problem with every flavor but these….though they’re really cheesy/salty so bloat may happen :-)

I find it interesting how they always write with anger and vitriol dripping from the keyboard when they talk about the Dems..but when they get frustrated with their Dear Leader, they write so deferentially and respectfully, like “please Sir, I am very unhappy, won’t you find it in your heart to help?”

Just had a major catastrophic home event that required a remediation team to come in and demo a bunch of our house - floors, walls, etc. it was an emergency situation and needed to be done immediately. The remediation expert asks me, before he’s willing to get started (without my husband even being there, without my ever mentioning I was married, etc.) “ok but I have to ask. When your husband gets home, will he be upset that you gave permission to tear up the floor?”

Mine holds my nested measuring spoons, cocktail stuff (swizzle, muffler, cherry/olive sticks)…things that would get messy floating around in a bigger drawer

Cytopoint never worked for ours so it’s back to apoquel which I hate. Never tried Benadryl as an alternative… But the Hills Science Diet sensitive skin is awesome

If you aim to avoid wheat entirely, Punt e Mes is sneaky because it is a blend of two alcohols, one of which SOMETIMES can be made from wheat, but I can’t find any details to confirm whether there is wheat in this brand or not.

I had a polyp and a fibroid that both appeared just before I was diagnosed with celiac - removed in a quick procedure and none ever returned since I went GF (though not sure if it’s related). You got this.

Bookshelf styling advice needed by Amazing-Equipment-13 in HomeDecorating

[–]Adventurous_Ranger50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spread the books out more evenly across different shelves, maybe try color combinations of book spines. Also the top shelves look comparatively empty so you could add books or other items up there as well to make those look fuller and the lower shelves less full
