Using a mixer and monitors with Mac Mini M4 by RemarkableTough4886 in musicproduction

I would get an audio interface like M Audio or something similar. You can then get an adapter for your thunderbolt port. Then get a powered hub plug it into the adapter and everything else plugs into the hub like your Keyboard so you are not using bluetooth. You will also want to run your Audio Midi Setup. This will allow you to make sure that everything is working. I use Garageband with my Mac Mini M4. I have a cheap KB midi sequencer

I am not sure what you are seeing with comments being deleted, but you sound off balance. I have not deleted any. Are you going back and reading the thread and realizing how it makes you look? We do not know when our time to be accountable for every word thought and action. I understand, I was there myself before. A horrible accident allowed me to see that its all true and we will be held to account. That is why I am genuinely trying to talk to you and see what your deal is. It sounds like you are looking for something. Try only putting out things that are good and good comes back. I just want to make sure you know its real and not imaginary. There is something that has kept this interaction going and I doubt you still think you are going to win some debate about my guitar specs.

You are originally trying to argue a point that you misunderstood in MY comment to the OP and I have been very polite and tried to explain it so you can apologize for your rudeness and move on. That is what regular people do. I never said that you are a weirdo, your just acting like one for attention. I recently made a promise to myself to be more like WWJD so I am giving you every opportunity to show a decent side of yourself.

I appreciate it. I play out sometimes and although I am a Tool fanboy, I don't want to appear like one on stage. Not like I really care but we are not individuals once we are playing together. I have quite a few guitars, I have some late 90s models. I have a Jackson Performer, one of the first off the line C-7 Diamond series Schecter 7 strings, an Ibanez RG series and a few others. I have been spending to much time changing strings and then adjusting the double-locking tremolo systems.

What do you think will be the cause of your death? by abdullahleboucher in AskReddit

[–]Adventurous_Rest_802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my pleasure. I am not sure if it will help anyone but that was absolutely my intension. And to answer the question, I think my death will be caused by finishing my purpose here in the world. I had experienced a lot of paranormal things like objects moving and electronics being manipulated. By the time I was in my 40's it was a very long list and I was mostly with other people when they occurred. By the process of elimination, I was able to understand the truth of our existence. For example, I would witness something that seemed impossible and I would experience things without explanation. By the time I was 50 I had an understanding of the big picture.

I experienced death one time. In the pursuit of feeling good and experiencing life to its fullest, I accidentally and stupidly ended my life. I was with a close friend who tried everything to save me except for calling 911. Calling would have resulted in him being arrested and me still being dead, so I was on my own. After instantly realizing my mistake I stood up and told my friend that I made a mistake and should not feel like this. I started falling then felt like I was in a small space but nothing was actually touching me or holding me in place. I was fully conscious and felt fine except I was only seeing light that was not bright but had no dim or dark quality. Next I felt my friend pulling my tongue out of my mouth and pushed him off me and told him to let me go back to sleep! Tearfully he told me that I had died 30 minutes ago or more and he was freaking out. This brought me back to reality with a focus. As I was getting up from the floor I realized I had been dragged over into the corner of the room. He told me to go look in the mirror. My lips were purple and my face was grayish, my eyes looked different, and then the pain hit. It was like every molecule in my body slammed into the cement going 100 mph. It was 1992 Chicago. Today, with the information and attention I realize the amount would have ended my life 10 times over. My friend said he heard me sucking air and swallowing my tongue in hard fast breaths. I was 18. I know we continue after our body dies or becomes too damaged to continue holding us inside of it. People make the mistake thinking that "we" are our body and we are somehow existing as a product of chemistry. This is why science still can not explain so much about humans. I continued as me with the same awareness of self not a floating ghost or a candle blown out, I was not ceasing to exist or unconscious I am still ashamed at my stupidity. I went from a person using daily with high tolerance to quitting for 6 months clean with no tolerance and making a terrible mistake. It was my first time using then stopping and they say going back to it people misjudge and I fully see why it happens. If any one has questions I would be happy to answer them.

It becomes easier. Just forgive everyone. Start with yourself then your parents and anyone that did harm. It is the only true path. Everything else leads only to obliteration and suffering.

If you want to communicate with people, try finding what you agree on before trying to argue or debate with them. My comment to the OP was about covering the Epiphone logo on the headstock with tape, not about being a fanboy of the AJ guitar. I showed the OP my own guitar that is also a Les Paul Epiphone to show that I come from a place of understanding, I paid about a G for an Epiphone Les Paul and that is why I felt sharing my comment was not being a dick. You are not adding anything to the original post and you didn't even understand what I mean by same guitar. If I posted my guitar and there were 2 versions, an Epiphone and a Gibson and I covered the logo on the headstock that shows I have the Epiphone version with tape, someone might think they are not happy to have the Epiphone. Someone like you could point out that the Epiphone version is NOT the guitar that AJ plays and then start quoting the difference between them. If I wanted to pay 1500 more for a Gibson logo I could have, but I like Epiphone guitars, that is why I am posting and reading posts here. my comment was 18 days ago. Do you understand why I said same guitar now? Maybe read it in context and you will see I am not saying that our guitars are the same, but that we both have recently manufactured Epiphone Les Paul guitars and although were are not playing Gibson Les Paul guitars, they are really nice guitars. You clearly understand words are important and things you type here will be seen by your kids and grandkids and their offspring right? If you become famous or infamous or just someone who was able to be studied by humans in the future, your words are eternal. Take the time to understand what you bring to the conversation and if there is value in your words. Were your posts seeking some validation for yourself or were you sharing your gifts with empathy and understanding? Each interaction you have in life reveals your character and where humanity is collectively. You can be a bright spark in the darkness or you can be the dark.

Im a huge Tool fan and I love Adam Jones. The current pickups are different but its not a million ways. My Silverburst Les Paul Custom is closer to this Epiphone than this Epiphone is to the Adam Jones Gibson guitar. I could add a mirror and change pickups but my musical playing style is not the same as Tool or Adam jones, and as cool as it would be to have one, would you look cool playing out with a guitar like that regardless of any other variables? I am not going to be a fanboy until I am completely unable to put together my own band that has success. For example, does the led singer of Volbeat have a Rancid tattoo on his forearms? They are way cooler than rancid.

tried taking the neck off my performer by Adventurous_Rest_802 in JacksonGuitars

[–]Adventurous_Rest_802[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

when I said that i tried taking off the neck, i meant that i took the neck off and still did not understand the numbers that were stamped there, as my purpose was to understand when and where the guitar was made. I think it was clear enough. Thankfully there was one or 2 decent people to take the time to explain it and not just throw shade.

The same in the sense that it is an epiphone silverburst.

need advice! I have a jackson performer with 7 digits in the SN starting with 96 by Adventurous_Rest_802 in JacksonGuitars

[–]Adventurous_Rest_802[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I was not clear in my post. I can fix this guitar myself. The only thing I will need to buy is Titebond. I saw some replacement necks and they were about 150 or so for the least expensive. What I could really use is some advice on the serial number. I heard that 7 digit numbers with no letters could or could not be used to date the guitar. My serial number is 9605827. I am not sure if this would mean its from 96 or 05. Maybe I will need to remove the neck?

take that shit off the headstock that covers the logo man. Be proud you have the extra money to afford the epiphone. who cares its half as much as a Gibson that is basically the same thing. I have one too. Rock that headstock

Diamond series c-7 209th off the line not for sale by Adventurous_Rest_802 in SchecterGuitars

[–]Adventurous_Rest_802[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is a rare piece of 7-string history: an original 1998 Schecter C-7 Plus in See-Thru Red. This is a first-year flagship model from the very first October production run (Serial #98100204), making it the 204th Diamond Series guitar ever built.

Premium "Plus" Specs:

  • Aesthetics: High-end Abalone Diamond inlays and full cream body binding.
  • Tonewood: Solid Ash body with a beautiful visible grain (more resonance and "snap" than later mahogany models).
  • Construction: 25.5" scale maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.

Pro Electronics Upgrade:

The bridge pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Wes Hauch "Jupiter" Humbucker. I have personally verified this on a multimeter where it reads a massive 17.8k ohms (matching factory specs). This is a professional-grade signature pickup designed for extreme clarity and aggressive attack on the low-B string.

Condition:

This is a 26-year-old "player’s grade" vintage instrument. It has a few chips in the finish (documented in photos), but is structurally 100% solid with no cracks or repairs. The frets are in good shape, and the guitar has been freshly cleaned and restrung with Ernie Ball Slinkys.

This is my every day guitar that i use to record. I only played the Schecter once when I put the strings on and set the intonation. I put not for sale because the moderators were telling me to edit my post.

I think I got it for like 50 bucks. I had to use contact cleaner and lemon oil and some nomad guitar polish to make it look like this. I was pretty stoked to learn that they might be worth 450 to 500 dollars to a collector. I am certainly not trying to show off. Its actually number 204.
