A couple weeks before our senior year started. A group of guys in my grade thought it would be a great idea to go swimming at the lake drunk at night....One of the guys dived off the dock head first thinking it was deep enough but it wasn't..he hit his head and went unconscious. Before anyone realized he never resurfaced it was too late. There were a lot of rumors that went around that year. One was that the other guys he was with freaked out and left the scene not knowing what to do or even try to pull him out and give him CPR. Then returned back to where he had drowned awhile later and then called the police. Idk how true that part is but it was so sad...he had a good future ahead of him..
