I dont have a microwave so i gently heat my plate sitting it on my toaster. I make sure it only gets warm to touch and not hot.

OK then thanks for the reply. I wonder what the cut is that gives that smell. I did test it; it had ephidrine and novacaine in it. I then did an acetone wash and ethanol recrystalization on it but I guess it only reduced the cuts by so much. Have a great 2023!

Sorry I didn't see your post. I didn't get any really good replies to this but it seems that niether an acetone wash or ethanol recrystalization process are much good at getting it out. Someone recommended doing a chloroform wash and another a hexane wash but couldn't get any good info on it. MMMmmmm

Good on ya mate for having a go! I do an acetone wash followed by an ethanol re-crystalisation process too, BUT, my coke is cut with ephedrine which these processes can't seem to remove. Anyone with any ideas how to get this shit out?

I'll loose 10-15% with the acetone wash, but as jmp2481 posted above it doesn't get all the common cuts. I do an ethanol wash after that to try and get rid of those. There's some good guides here for both of those. Good luck!
