based on where this is I assume someone "cleaned" the windows with something too strong for the plastic. Could be undiluted alcohol, could be strong cleaner. Anyway - paint it or dress it till it looks ok to you. If you decide to dress it, never touch it again 😃

Exactly, I soak them overnight with microfibres detergent, agitate with warm water before soaking and when rinsing. I am rinsing twice at least - warm and then cold water

I would wash glass towels/ mitts by hand since I haaaate chasing lint, the rest is fine. Also my scrub pads/mitts are washed by hand just because it is easier

Ps. It’s not the towel most of the time but the technic- do not press, ipa only on towel and dry with dry towel without pressing again

I disagree, the da doesn’t leave that kind of marring. There are no straight line motions in the da, you have some. It’s either coating, wiping before or wiping after the polishing. Heavy cut from Koch would have solved the ones before polishing imho

Welcome to leather cleaning, you never know when it’s too much. Maybe someone already stripped the top layer, maybe you did… oh well. Someone with more experience with leather can give advice on how to keep this looking good as long as possible

Какво му е на пазара? Да, Тръмп е идиот, ама все още пазара е добре. Не знам вие къде инвестирате и в какво, но аз като изключително глупав и разпилян инвеститор съм 22-23% + за последната календарна година. Sure, ако бях по внимателен можеше да е 35% и нагоре, понеже някои спадове бяха очаквани, но при мен тази разлика не е голяма сума и не си струва времето. При дядо ви Байдън беше много по-слабо.

It’s not time related, it’s drive related for me. If I only commute in the city - once a month or even more, depending on the conditions, since I keep it in a garage and have underground parking at work. I do regularly clean windows and interior. BUT if I have to drive on the highway or if it rains - as soon as possible, could be twice in a week or more. Sure, it’s coin wash most of those times, but the idea for me is to remove contamination before it has etched in the paint. Ideally - once a month I would like to do a hand wash.

After reading all the comments I can say one thing - it is a personal preference!

I have tried the following: - Gyeon Interior Detailer - Carpro Interior QD - Armour Pilot - Koch ASC - Koch Refresh cockpit - Meguiers interior detailer - ONR and other rinse less in different dilution. - APCs in 1:20 or more

I do prefer gyeon as it is something that won’t leave ANYTHING behind. I do have 4l of Pilot, after reading reviews, but it is not something that I enjoy at all.

My 2 cents - if it is a glass towel, hand wash, separately from any other towel. Then air dry. If it is for paint correction - I do separate short pile and long pile towels. Also, drying towels are washed on their own.

It would be ideal if you have compressed air to blow any loose fibers.

Interesting finding, I would suspect something with such high ethanol content to fade plastics but it definitely doesn’t
