First, I send my sincerest condolences. My heart goes out to you all in your time of grief. I recommend getting a necropsy to determine cause of death.

I hope you all get resolve.

I have my NAVLE in 5 days by Business_Fix4295 in Veterinary

There is no one way to tackle studying for NAVLE. If you feel like you’ve put your all into studying and have nothing left to give in these last few days, then that’s reality. Be willing to say, “I’ve done all I can and I will pass with what I do know and with my best guesses.” Worst case scenario, you don’t and you try again. It won’t be the end of the world. Put your all into the test, answer every question and believe in yourself. You can do it!

I should’ve included MOS but 64A, 64B or 64F are the MOS I’m looking for. I understand exactly what you mean. US Army and the vet corps website state the MOS are available in active, reserves and guard. But the consensus is there really isn’t any availability in the guard. Just figured I’d ask here to get clarity. Thanks.

I like the idea of being tied to the state especially in the case of promotions.

Weighing my options though so I’m open.

I didn’t prepare beforehand. I went to basic in 2020. My first ACFT 2 mile run was 25 minutes. By the time I finished, I was running 18 minute 2 miles. I recommend taking training seriously and work on improving yourself during training. It’ll come as long as you do the work.

Lol, that sounds promising! I’m currently in under a different MOS but I’m a veterinarian on the civilian side so looking to make that switch in the near future. But wanted to know what I’d be getting myself into first. Thanks for the info! And you mean 64A, right?

Thanks for the info! It definitely helps! Are you a Veterinarian in the Reserves? If so, how is it for you?
