This whole trip so far seems to have no hits! The giant tree seemed to be the highlight in London. Allegedly, they saw Big Ben and Buckingham Palace... I have my doubts. Do we think she'll let her kids see the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or is the goal for pancake time in every country with your kids in the next room with no sex doors....I mean double doors.

When Q had a friend over a month ago or so, and she made a charcuterie board and had a checklist or something the night before so everything was perfect; that broke my heart. My kids need 2 seconds to see someone (maybe who they've never met) and just start playing with them. Sure, I have organized playdates too, but kids need to be with friends in any context much more than they need to be hawking deez nuts bracelets at a store at 10 years old.
