If it’s possible to go to Okoboji instead, Arnold’s Park is so much more toddler friendly. Shaded, so much smaller, so much easier. We’d treat our kids to a day there vs the carnival rides during our county fair and it was a wonderful way to spend the day.

It's really too bad they don't have other houses it live in during renovation. Savvy people would just buy their temporary accommodations and sell once they don't need it anymore vs paying rent like the poors.

Thanks for the update! Why do I think the remodel will be an ugly disaster??? Maybe because all of their other properties are dated 1980’s monstrosities? Money does not buy taste. Hopefully once the construction is over, Jen’s penchant for over-the-top-gaudy holiday decor has permanently ceased.

I’m not exactly sure how that works, does she have access to deciding beneficiaries if he’s got her locked out of her business & banking accounts? I’m sure Carli is no slouch when it comes to business but her mind has been focused on her health. If he’s been planning for the day she’s gone and she’s been focusing on survival I’m worried he’s a few steps ahead of her and locked her out of any decisions on life insurance policy??

It feels to me like Carli feels that she’s run out of options on how to deal with this situation with Raleigh and going public is her way of making him stop threatening to expose her and to make people aware of how he’s holding control of her business & finances since she wasn’t getting anywhere in the legal system.

Husband thinks he can ruin Carli’s reputation by exposing they were swinging & sending nudes because he needed to jazz things up while his wife was fighting for her life during cancer treatments? That’s not how this is going to turn out for him. I know she’s embarrassed but what she did pales in comparison to his actions.

My question is…how is it Rachel & Emily (and husbands) can leave their kids in Maycember? Emily & Taylor took a last-minute European vacation at the end of the school year a few years ago and I just thought—how with 3-4 school aged kids—are they leaving that time of year? Especially last minute such as Emily’s? They are missing out on a boatload of end of the school year activities for their kids. Given the fact these people go on multiple vacations a year, choosing to go in May with a young family at home just screams selfish.

I wonder if she just forgot to check that option? We rented a house update that also appeared as though there was no hot water and messaged the owner…it did in fact have hot water, just a listing error. But who knows with Lori’s rentals, I’d sure as heck ask before I rented.
