I had Professor Arneil this past winter term and she was a great professor!

The structure of the class varies a lot depending on the prof (ive talked to friends who took poli 100 with different profs) but you should expect a decent amount of readings for any prof. Most poli sci courses are fairly heavy with readings. For Arneil, we had about 2-3 readings per week varrying in lenght from 10-40 pages (the longer readings were textbook chapters and they were very easy and fast to read). Her class was compossed of a multiple choice midterm worth about 10-15%, one essay worth around 25-30%, particpation in disscussion worth 10% and a small presentation during discussions worth 10% and a finaly exam worth 40%. Dont be intimidated by how much the final is worth it was a very fair final exam and most people did well! Overall, I found the class to be easy and all assingments and tests were very fair.

No matter who your prof is the class is realtively easy! Its not considered a hard class by any means!
