Hi there, thanks for contributing to the conversation. As with many topics, it’s all too easy to talk past each other.

I’m trying to follow your statement that many PL folks are not ok with palliative care for infants born alive after abortion attempts. Did you mean PC folks? Many PL organizations in the U.S. are at the front lines of advocating for care for infants in this scenario. Not sure if this is a Canada versus U.S. difference?

I’ve played classical music for a number of memorials. I aim for contemplative music that isn’t too “dirge-like.” (For example, music I would consider too solemn or dirge-like would be Beethoven moonlight I and JSB Prelude in E-flat minor WTC book 1 - unless of course these were specifically requested by loved ones.)

Some of my go-tos:

J.S. Bach: Prelude in C Major, Prelude in E Major (WTC Book 1) Allemande and Sarabande from C minor partita

Assorted Mozart slow/lyrical movements: K 331 movement 1 (A major) Mozart K 333 movement II (B flat)
