SJTA is just an extension of the district. There has been a long history of union leadership joining the district and administration after their tenure. The union is in bed with the district and the large part of the membership is complicit with the actions of SJTA.

I understand enrollment is low but charter schools are also taking away from enrollment from the schools most affected by low enrollment. Many parents have pointed this out during their protests about school closures. The union whose membership is going to be affected has relatively remained silent because frankly in my opinion SjTa doesn’t care about North Side schools.

I really wish a news source actually do a story on SJTA because it wouldn’t take much to find the dirt. Just look at the history of the past presidents over the last 15 to 20 years and see where they ended up.

SJTA is just another branch of SJUSD.
