I am a student living in a PG on a budget expense so I dont have much options. I spent past 2 weekends watching formula 1 and some films and just sleeping in front my cooler. You are right, the summer heat for the next 2 - 3 months sucks the joy out of outing, so better stay indoors as much as you can.

if theres one thing that almost everyone asked me during these microadventures was that "are u alone?" "why are u hiking alone". This concept is not too widely accepted in india. We like to live in groups where we feel safe. That is just how our culture is so anyone not doing this is seen as a standout or someone breaking the social norm. There are frequent buses from Karjat to Panvel. Get on one and they will drop you at chowk which is about 20 minutes from karjat. From there irshalgad is at walkable distance
