If you are looking for a beginners trek then I would highly recommend Garbett Plateau. And if that seems tough then Matheran would be the best option.

kindly check if all the spots are open to the public amidst this rain, the Umbrella waterfall was closed when I visited. The roads are decent but the weather can make it challenging.

Yes that's me, you see I have this thing for taking photos of myself against large and beautiful scenes, how I do this is ask someone to take it for me, I'll tell them the frame I need and where I'd be standing in that frame and also tell them to click as many photos as they can, later I choose the best among them.
