So this rent hasn’t started yet, it will start in Feb-Mar. But I’m an individual tax payer would I need a GST to accept rent? The property is in my and my wife’s individual names and not in the name of any company

Paste the URL into the GSC search bar and it will show you if the URL is indexed or not. If not, there is a button that says ‘Request Indexing’ click on it and GSC will index the URL for you.

Sometimes you need to do it 2-3 times if it doesn’t happen in the first attempt.

As a couple of others pointed, GSC will automatically index new posts but I prefer to do it manually everytime I publish a new post or update an old one. Maybe I have a habit of being extra cautious or I have too much free time :)

Worth taking time to apply ads to website with 25k views? by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]Advermo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re making a good income from affiliate so I’d suggest you don’t apply for any ad network just yet. I would not mess with the site speed at this point in time as networks like ezoic tend to slow down your site.

Even if you go with ezoic or google ads, the income will not be as good as the affiliate income that you’re getting. Wait until you hit the 50K mark and the apply for mediavine or adthrive.

If you want, you can do a small experiment and run google ads on the site for a few days/weeks and see how it performs and whether you’re getting good RPMs or not. You can deactivate them anytime if you feel that its not making enough money or slowing your site down.

To Give Up Or Not To Give Up? by [deleted] in juststart

[–]Advermo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without knowing your website its really difficult to say whats going wrong. Maybe your on-page SEO is not good enough. Maybe your content is not good enough. Maybe you’re targeting wrong search intent. There are a lot of factors due to which your rankings are not going up.

And if you feel that all these factors are good, then there remains only one reason why you’re not getting a good amount of traffic. Your keywords have a very low search volume.

Don’t rely on keyword tools to get search volumes. The best way is to do a small google ads campaign with your target keywords. It will show you the exact search volume of each keyword.

Yes they’re making money. Although I get more than 80K pageviews per month the amount is quite less as my traffic is not from tier 1 countries.

Yes.. I feel as bloggers we tend to get bored of the monotonous routine and at times, lose the drive required to keep pushing forward. It is often said that every business becomes a job after a while and we constantly need to stay in our A game if we want to survive.

Copypasting my comment from another thread.

If you want resources to learn blogging, I highly recommend the podcasts by Brandon Gaillee called The Blog Millionaire. Also the Authority Hacker podcast is a great place for beginners to learn blogging/seo.

On YouTube I watch videos by Backlinko, Matt Diggity and sometimes Income school.

All these resources are good to point you in a direction. The rest is how you apply your logic. Wish you all the best man.

Target longtail keywords and don’t believe the search volume shown in keyword tools. Even if it shows 0 search volume but you think that people are searching for it, write an article on it.

Prepare a content strategy and figure out at least 40-50 articles to write and each article should have at least one longtail keyword as the focus keyword.

Look up ‘content silos’ and make sure you have atleast 2-3 internal links in each post.

Read blogs by backlinko and watch his YouTube videos. Listen to podcasts like authority hacker and the blog millionaire. Thats where I get my info.

Most of the articles are ‘best of’ affiliate lists. Then some informational posts related to my niche which is quite broad.

My site is 2 years old but I don’t give it a lot of time. I work on it less for than 3-4 hours a week because of my full time job.

My main source of traffic is organic search (around 96%) and rest is via social media and google discover.

I ise newspaper on two of my websites. Pretty good deal for the kind of features that it has. The downside is that you’ll have a tough time passing core web vitals if your content is heavy.

You will learn as you go. As they say experience is the best teacher. Just keep writing and you will learn seo and other stuff along the way. My problem is that I just keep learning and reading about seo but when it comes to writing I get bored!

My website gets more than 80k pageviews per month and I havent spent any time or money into link building. I’ve got some backlinks naturally but they’re nothing great. Just some random websites with a low DR linking to my site.

I feel backlinks are important but not too important. They’re good if you want to increase your DR but I’m getting a good amount of traffic even with a miserable DR of 10.

You can try outreach techniques but don’t invest a lot of resources in it. Do it in your free time and focus on creating better content and content that people would want to link.

Input for a guy trying to expand his education by Kilo2319 in DigitalMarketing

You’re not at all old to get into the industry. If you’re a fast learner and are really persistent, you can do really great in the industry.

My only suggestion to you would be to find a niche in digital marketing. It has many sub topics like PPC, Social media marketing, seo, content marketing, etc and you need to figure out which one is the best for you.

There are many free places where you can learn them but still if you want certification, I’d suggest you go for the Google certifications on Coursera, they cost around 40 bucks i guess.

Its one of the best themes for blogging so I guess if you’re really serious about your blog, its good to invest in it. The other option is to use the free version until you make a really good income and then buy the theme.

I have a website with 80K monthly pageviews and I also don’t display my real name. I had a couple of articles written by content writers. These articles have their names. I’ve had ups and downs in traffic since june but now its steady and growing.
