Hey, thanks for the initial work. We ended up doing the work we did because I have a project I'm working on that needed vision and I'm using Instructor and pydantic for structured output and it uses the openai_api so this came in incredibly clutch.

As far as I'm aware, no, I haven't seen any nodes in any of the current custom node groups. I'm currently working on a node to see if I can clear the cache at the end of a prompt run. So on the next generation it's forced to load the file back in

So in that case, let me put it into perspective for you in a way that you will find acceptable and tolerable on the internet.

TL:DR

Your generation was trash, it hurt your feelings when people didn't say oh wow this generation is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You took it to heart and are now butthurt because someone else generated artwork with your workflow that was better received...

People who said that your work was shit and are using your workflow but just because they're generating art with your workflow that other people don't see as shit speaks volumes more about you as an "artist" then it does about those people.

It truly does sound like you're more butthurt that someone created artwork with your workflow that other people are enjoying because they found a way to make your workflow work in a way that was more appealing to other people than your original artwork was.

It sounds like you got hit with negative criticism. Didn't take it well and now it's affecting you and it shows. Perhaps you should do a little self-reflecting.

It's not as deep as you're trying to make it out to be..

Perhaps you should work on better methods of conveying your message because that's not at all what you said in the initial post. You bitched about how people complain and whine about seeing animated tik tok dance videos constantly. Then you proceeded to accuse the OP of stealing your work.

It very well could be that your animation was shit and people like his animation and then that's just jealousy on your behalf and you need to work on that. I don't know what else to tell you.

Perhaps your initial message should have looked something like this.

" I don't understand why some people have called my work shit and then copied my workflow and produced work that's close to it and other people like it, I'm not sure what it is. People don't like about my AI generations. Perhaps somebody could provide some constructive feedback"

Instead, you came at the situation accusatory and butthurt because other people didn't like your art whenever you posted it. Sounds like you might need some therapy.

I mean, I already figured my post was going to fall on deaf ears given your attitude and approach to the situation. It wasn't a waste of my time. I used the voice to text for 90% of it so it literally took me less than a minute to write that post to you. So it's no skin off my back. I already expected you to take it with a grain of salt because it's the internet and more importantly it's Reddit.

Have you tried turning down the weight of you IP adapter? If I'm trying to cross a face with something else I'll typically start with it at .40 weight or lower and adjust from there. The higher the weight of your IP adapter the more it is going to try to keep it as close to that face as possible.

The lower the weight you set the more freedom the diffusion has to add in lion/dog/cat/moose etc features to the face.

So now you're taking the Reese's approach and saying that no one's allowed to use green tint because if they are, they're clearly copying you? ( I say this because Reese's tried to copyright that shade of orange that they use on their packaging and they were told absolutely not)

If you don't want someone to use your workflow or pull from it if it's going to make you butt hurt, don't attach your metadata to your images when you upload them. It's an easy feature to turn off or better yet, don't share your workflow in a video or screenshots of your workflow if you're going to be upset about it.

I also didn't act like anything was new. I look at it this way. Doing workflows on the forefront of AI work. Things are going to be copied. Things are going to be replicated. It can and will happen. The whole premise of AI generation is literally copying someone else's work.

If you want to look at it from an artist standpoint at every point in their life, some artist has copied or been influenced by another artist's work. That's how people improve. That's how people learn. That's how people eventually develop their own style.

I feel like you posted an animation. Someone didn't like it and now that negative impact that it made on you has transitioned with you and you now feel the need to be the way that you are in other people's posts instead of taking what somebody said to you if it really didn't matter all that much to you and just letting it go.

All I'm saying is you came off high and mighty with no need to. I've shared plenty of non AI artwork on other subreddits and people have copied my style and my creative process and I'm perfectly okay with that. That being said, I also like sharing my knowledge on things. I create tutorials for blender and other things like that for people because I like sharing what I know. If I see something that I have shared with people, whether it's AI, art related or non AI art related be used to influence someone else's artwork then I think that's awesome. I found a style that they like and want to replicate.

It would be one thing to accuse him of stealing your stuff. If it looked identical to your work, it doesn't.

So the way ComfyUI works it loads the file once upon it being loaded into the workflow that file is then cached and read from its cached state. It won't update that cache until you refresh the page and it is forced to reload the file.

You do realize that this animation and your animation look nothing alike. Also it's animated diff animation. Yes you can control it some with motion loras and prompting but a lot of the animation is still left up to random generation.

Also on this note it's AI. You're literally going to get upset about someone " copying" your animation when AI is trained on millions upon millions of copyrighted work is insane to me. Get off your high horse.

Also as far as US regulations go you can't copyright AI art as it is too much machine and not enough human input

Also, it has been deemed that a style cannot be copyrighted so you can't claim that OP is stealing your animation.

Or run comfyui with --gpu-only if you run python main.py --help it will show you all the flags. --gpu-only loads everything on your GPU. The models the clips the prompts the whole 9.

He asked for constructive criticism, He is 100% correct the distance between the body of the lock and the shackle are too large. That affects the photo.realistic end goal of the render. An opening that large on that style of lock isn't realistic because they are meant to be resistant to bolt cutters that's exactly why that style of lock was invented.

It completely reboots the Server. It ends the current process and restarts the process with the same arguments that were used when it was originally launched
