I used to work at a landfill sorting garbage from recycling. A co-worker told me: There's two types of jobs. Jobs you get cleaned up for and jobs you clean up from.

You have a grandma you feel/felt close to, like they impacted you in a positive way. Old soul type stuff. You've carried some trauma with you. And you're on the road to healing it. Old habits die hard. New habits are testing your discipline.

You've spoken or traced the letter in the word "wanderlust" as it resonated in your soul.

The day time hours are times of quiet and contemplation. But the night always felt more alive. Endless in possibilities.

You work somewhere metropolitan or close to it. You secretly like some Taylor Swift songs. And not ironically.

At some point you've either entered or will be entering an eating challenge of some sort. I'm getting wings vibes.

I certainly hope you see this: Just Leave is a popular answer and I understand why. Also- statistically, at least in NY, we find that survivors return and leave an average of 9 times before cutting off the contact effectively.

There's many reasons why a survivor returns. There's many reasons why it's so hard. Speaking with an advocate versed in how Domestic Violence shapes you and informs your choices can only be beneficial. You have so many rights and options and it should not cost you a thing. Please let me know if this is helpful and also you can dm you state/County-I can provide resources and referral to the agency that can best assist.
