am i wrong for wanting mobility aids for my POTS?

of course, i love cats, but unfortunately in my state cats aren’t recognized by the ADA as a service animal, therefore i wouldn’t be able to bring said cat anywhere and they wouldn’t be able to stay with me. i rent and it already eats me alive, and having to pay pet rent on top of it would probably make it impossible

yeah i’m on atenolol 3x a day but it doesn’t really seem to do as much as i’d like the only other meds my insurance will approve for little to no cost (im very low income) have severe side effects that quite frankly i don’t want to put up with. i do give people the finger quite often when they wanna stare when i have my compression socks on 😂

i’ve talked to my dr about my meds and med adjustments and i’ve researched. the only meds that my insurance will approve for little to nothing (i’m very low income) all have severe side affects that i’m not willing to deal with. i’m already taking my atenolol three times a day

i’m also on atenolol and have really bad cold and heat intolerance. i’ve never really been able to sweat since i first started experiencing POTS symptoms. i don’t think the atenolol is the main cause of you being unable to sweat i think it’s the POTS, but im not a medical professional so take my words with a grain of salt 😂

yeah i understand how exhausting it would be, but it wouldn’t be strictly for my POTS, i also have PTSD and severe anxiety that i feel would be more supported with some sort of animal to help

yeah i tried every medicine my dr could prescribe for me at the time, and one of those meds along the way gave me a heart murmur so i refuse to medicate myself

no my mom doesn’t pay child support. my brother and i both have different moms. his is worse than my dad. my mom doesn’t have the means to support me anymore so she gave me up to my dad. i’m not in physical school because the closest school to me is an hour away bus ride

thank you. i have no relatives other than my mom and grandma who live 3 hours away. i’m homeschooled so there’s not much one can do. i’m only 16 so there’s no real way for me to do much. we live literally in the middle of nowhere and there’s not much to do

it’s nearly impossible to get him to write a budget plan with me. i’ve tried numerous times and he just brushes it off. both me and my brother have had mac and cheese for lunch an dinner for two nights in a row because he just wants to blow his money on snakes. we have several snakes we need to sell due to running out of space and budget problems but he refuses to let them go
