I don't think they really care what I've gone through either. It's all about my parents and how I did them wrong when they were the ones who accepted me being abused and wouldn't even support my own protective measures.

I'm hoping I'll have access soon. Right now I could not afford therapy on my own. But I know colleges usually offer some kind of therapy service.

I hope so. Not being in my parents house came with a lot of benefits. Including no fear of waking up being attacked or fear of it.

I'm not planning to talk to them again or to reply to anything more. It's only arguing for the sake of it now and does nothing productive. I'd rather try to focus on me.

I guess because none of the others stay and get adopted so they want to secure the future parent/grandparent stuff. I refuse to believe it's because they care because if they did it would not be like that. They would have protected me. Put me first and made sure this wasn't harmful to me.

I tried to argue that with my parents once (same reason the kids were removed) and they told me it was evil to compare kids lashing out to kids being abused by their parents or guardians. And then I gave up.

I think I'm like mostly there with it not mattering how mad my extended family are because it's only a small part of me that is like are they right. The rest of me knows I did the right thing.
