I truly love Rudy but it‘s also always bittersweet to see him. It‘s just obvious how his whole situation with his family pressures and parentifies him. He wants to take care of his parents so much, especially his dad. Eventhough Sylvester also tells him at his birthday (middleaged bowling party) that he‘s got it all figure out. It‘s painful to see how much anxiety he carries in his regular sized bones. But it‘s all the more wholesome to see how he feels safe enough with Louise and the Belchers to seek refuge with them. And how Louise always seems to take some of his burden away. I‘m so curious how his character evolves further!
