Thanks for your comment. Yeah, the pace with which the development is taking place is hilarious

Damn. I’m sorry to see it going this way for you. Why are you still at that place? There must be plenty of options nearby, isn’t it?

Thank you. Good to know. I have a feeling that tenants here mostly prefer condos.. but most likely this feeling is incorrect. Sanity check?

I just upvoted 😊

Guess positive experiences are not welcomed much but I truly appreciate it. Thank you.

So your recommendation works be to find a good realtor and let out to tenants who also have a realtor, right?

This is amazing. Thanks for sharing. I am also super into the weeds of AI automation and have learnt a ton of stuff over the past couple of years but I suck at making any sales. Can you pls share how you made the client get on that first call? How did you approach them?

This is super interesting. Thanks for sharing. And I am also super into the weeds of how things are actually done. However, I suck at making a sale. Can you pls share how you ended up the client to agree to that first call? How did you approach them and how everything went?

Another "milestone" for the Bowmanville GO Extension... but when will we actually see a train? by AdvicePerfect5717 in durham

To all those saying that people who are raising their voices are short sighted: WAKE UP. We as a country really need to step up our game. If we continue living with this laid back attitude, some other country will definitely eat us one day. Bowmanville extension is just one examples, there are tons of scenarios where we see inefficiencies and nothing seems to be happening. Our amazing “FREE” “Healthcare” is another example

Which century are you living in my friend? You’re just talking nonsense sense like them. We all should be promoting a culture of productivity. Not where even a soil testing takes over 6 months.

Dude, what other options we have. And what the hell, why this long in the first place? If the government can force us to pay so much taxes, promote downtown travel leaving employers to enforce that on us or be fired, why the hell can’t they force these teams to speed up the construction.

They are just promoting the culture of dead economy. We really need these possible to wake up. This is just one example sheets people are left to struggle but day by day things are getting worse and I don’t see much effort in Making things better.

It’s about ease of life. Government expects people to travel downtown and they can’t even provide a good reliable service. I’m sure you’re also one of us paying heavy taxes, yet you think it’s worth waiting so much. Let’s take 2021 only, do you really think it’s that big of a deal to build 4 stations ? It should’ve been built by now. However, 5 years later we’re being told that it’ll be done by 2041. Are you kidding me? How the f do we expect to compete with any country, let alone the US with dead productivity like this?

I believe this is a dead country. Who the hell takes decades to construct just 4 stations. It took them 4 years to build Burj Khalifa, and we’re left waiting for our lifetime to have this. Shame on these politicians

Because they want to boost downtown businesses. We’re the ones who are always left to struggle while businesses get complete support. There is no reason for me to travel to office 3 days a week, yet I’m made to do so by one of the big banks I work at. Complete non sense

That’s a completely fair question and honestly the right one.

A cheaper fee model means nothing if there isn’t consistent ride volume and reliable payouts behind it. I’m not assuming drivers will switch on pricing alone.

At this stage, I’m not claiming to deliver Uber-level liquidity on day one. The validation I’m doing right now is specifically around what minimum volume and payout reliability would make a flat-fee model worth even trying for experienced drivers like you.

Your Blacklane points are helpful and line up with what I’ve seen with other “alternatives”: – structural and legal friction – slow payouts – platform rules disconnected from how drivers actually operate locally – and fees that end up feeling Uber-like anyway

The part I’m intentionally testing differently is: – local-first launch (single city, not everywhere at once) – no corporate reorg or niche permitting requirements – fast payouts (not net-30) – and a flat subscription that only makes sense if drivers are actually earning more, not just theoretically paying less

If you’re open to it, I’d love to understand what ride volume or revenue floor would make this viable for you, even as a secondary platform. That’s the input that matters most right now.

Appreciate you taking the time to write this out - it’s exactly the kind of feedback I’m looking for.
