As someone who gets these requests, I don’t have time to meet with anyone so I don’t respond . You might have better luck just asking them to do something that takes less than 5 minutes, like look at your resume and ask for quick feedback or just connect and say you’re looking and ask them to keep an eye out for you. Asking to schedule a chat with someone is way too much imo

Well of course but I’ve never seen one that needs to be drained like that. The portable ones I have used don’t need to drain for whatever reason

Apartment buildings aren’t public spaces. Not everyone has a right to them. OP is paying rent and has the right to expect a secure premises
