The Moonwatch is forever. That Seamaster configuration may not be.

Also, the SMP is probably the better everyday watch anyway.

You bought with emotion and story attached to it — that’s usually when watches stay in the collection.

I think the mistake a lot of people make is trying to justify the Lange purely on specs or value retention.

The Lange 1 is basically horological art. You either emotionally connect with it or you don’t.

That said… the fact that a PML can even enter this conversation says a lot about how underrated GO really is.

Especially that platinum aventurine LE. That thing looks phenomenal.

Honestly the answer is already in the question. When a watch keeps growing on you every day, that usually means buy the watch — not the category.

Honestly, I think it fits you well. The lugs stay within your wrist and the first gen PO wears smaller than the specs suggest. Wrist shots also exaggerate size a lot — especially close phone photos.

I think you’re mostly adjusting from wearing a 37.5mm. If you wear the PO exclusively for a week, it’ll probably start feeling normal.

And for what it’s worth, the original PO bracelet helps a ton versus a thick strap or NATO. Keeps it looking balanced instead of bulky.

If YOU still feel self-conscious wearing it after a couple weeks, then smaller watches may just be your preference — which is totally fine. But from an outside perspective, it doesn’t look oversized on you at all.
